1) A natural & healthy alternative to spraying
potentially harmful materials, especially animal wastes,
out into our environment, which seeps into all our water resources
& threatens human, animal, plant & aqautic life. Legislation
should immediately be enacted to begin a phase-out process, so
that within 5 years or as soon as enough worm recycling facilities
are available, the spraying of waste materials out in the environment
is banned completely!
2) Replaces
the need for so many chemical additives in the soil, which
grows all the food we ingest. The correlation between the induction
of man-made chemicals into agricultural production, food processing
& water purification & the dramatic increase in obesity
& other major health problems, is an avenue that demands closer
scrutiny. Our very lives depend on getting to the truth! Don't
settle for the hype used by billion dollar chemical manufacturers (soil,
food, water), who use their money to gain political power & control
to monopolize on our right to choose the way our life sustaining food
& water is grown & processed.
3) There
are also tremendous amounts of chemicals being released
everywhere in our environment, in the name of Pest Control!
We all know that the more junk they come up with to kill flies,
mosquitos, ants, crop insects, etc., the more these creatures evolve
to survive & become even harder to control. Not only do their
chemicals not work, they make the problem worse & in some cases
create other problems as well.
Worm Tea, a liquid for of natural fertilizer
extracted from worm castings soaked in water, could be an
answer. It is already known that spraying this liquid on flower
& vegetable plants, gives them the nutrients & vitality they
need, without compromising environmental health & safety. Think
for a moment! We spray for insects that feed on what? Flies breed in
masses by feeding on bacteria infested garbage, animal manure & other
rotting or decaying matter naturaly occuring in our environment. Mosquitos
breed in & around standing water sources, including lakes, ponds,
ditches, etc. The bacteria in these standing water sources feeds the
young until they are ready to look for our blood. Since flies & mosquitos
do not breed in worm castings, further research could provide a natural
alternative in controlling disease carrying insects. Since they are a necessary
part of the plante's ecosystem, we will never eradicate them. However, by
using worms & their by-products to remove the disease causing pathogens,
what goes back into the food, water & air is free of disease &
oxygen levels are increased. If these insects are not feeding on these
pathogens, they are not likely to spread diseases, like they do under the
planet's current process of decay, due to natural, but mostly man-made waste
in all forms. Millions are spent on research to create and/or improve chemical
methods they already know are slowly killing our planet & everything
in it! I don't agree that minimal amounts are not dangerous, I feel any chemical
added, other than those naturaly present, is too much!
To monopolize any industry is suppose
to be illegal. Yet, the chemical companies get away with
it. Remember Bill Gates & how he was accused of monopolizing
the desktop software market? It cost him millions, because he
was the only one who was able to create a stable desktop environment
& put computers in people's home. What did he do wrong? What
is the difference with the chemicals? The monopolizers currently
use up to 95% or more of the local, state
& federal research funding every year. Yes, it very well may
be a quicker cheaper fix, because it is the only prodominant choice.
Still, what they don't tell you is that this process is has increased
the speed at which our planet is being stripped of all its life giving
ability, nearly ten fold! If we don't fight for the right to affordably
choose very soon, there will be no turning back. Laws should require
that an equal share of all funding be used to research natural &
environmentally safer solutions. Availability to choose & the
demand that creates, dictates price! If just as many people are using
natural solutions as chemical solutions, it would cost about the same
for either. Keeping the public in the dark about the long term effects
are the key to controlled success.
4) Worms
are disease free & can be consumed in their natural
form or their valuable nutrients can be consumed through the
use of natural supplements, such as flour & liquid, with
the promise of (pill, powder and/or liquid)
forms of their protein, amino acids & B vitimins for human
consumption. Worm flour is higher in these nutrients than
the commonly used fish flour. Fish ingest the same pollutants in
our water resources that humans do. Like us, their digestive track
can not breakdown these pollutants like worms do!
Our planet is at a dangerous
crossroads! We have nothing to losse, but everything to
gain. Tons of research has already been done to prove the benefits
of many new methods mentioned here. Others, show so much promise,
they must be researched further. One thing is crystal clear:
We cannot keep
our current path & survive!
The health benefits
are undeniable! This creates an economic demand, which can result in a whole
new job & business ownership industry for the more common, less educated
percentage (40-65) of the U.S. popultaion alone.
By creating completely new divisions & areas of study, even the medical,
scientific & agricultural industries already in place, can experience
growth & job expansion. More & more farmers are joining the welfare
& unemployment lines, because the chemical alternative is doing more
harm than good & they can no longer afford to keep their soil productive.
There is no economic growth currently available for them. Social relationships
can dramatically improve, because we will, in less time, diminish (if not
eradicate) world hunger, unemployment & welfare burdens. The nutrients
found in worms & their by-products hold increbible promise for the poorest
parts of our globe & can
create a positive international impact, by reducing the
world-wide food debt in a safe & healthy manner.
The poor & underprivileged have been
exploited long enough! Public misconception in the value &
necessity of worms nearly cost us our farm completely. An attack
on our livelihood by one neighbor & his father, prompted
them to interfere with our food supplier, within weeks of Magic
Wiggler's internet launch. They complained to our supplier that the
manure we had been feeding our worms for nearly a year, was suddenly
causing them excessive flies problems. By the time we could provide
them written proof from the State Entomologist
that this accusation was totally without any merit, they had destroyed
our relationship with the supplier. We were suddenly faced with an
inadequate food supply for our size farm & lost over 90% of our stock as a result. It is
time something is done to prevent further such attacks & creating
public awareness is the key! We have all been forced to endure less
than adequate health & quality in our lives. Every voice counts!

Request public notification & publication of current evidence
on the benefits of vermiculture & dangers of chemical deprivation
to our ecosystems. Natural vs Chemical
should be equally represented! Ask that the truth be made public,
natural earthworm alternatives be enacted into law & research
into social, health & economic impacts be funded with your tax
dollars, instead of it all going into earth's slow demise through the
use of chemicals. We, the public, have a
right to choose & it is our lawmakers responsibility to ensure
everything which can be done, is being done for the benefit of us ALL, not the few!
